Whilst we do not require our walkers to become members of the club, if you walk with us why not join us and take advantage of some of the benefits available to you as a member.
Membership is only £4 per year and this entitles you to reductions on our coach trips and special events entry as well as eligibility to attend our social events, and voting rights at our Annual General Meetings. You will also receive our regular club magazine - "The Waendeller".
Due to the popularity of our social events and limitations on numbers these are usually restricted to members only. We appreciate that some members like to invite non-member partners and guests but as stated these tend to be very popular and so we have to ensure that members have priority. If you wish to participate in these events but are not a member please consider membership.
Non-members pay £1.00 per walk as an entry fee - members continue to walk with us for just £0.50 per walk. Also the non-member prices for our quarterly coach trips are £2 more than member prices.
A number of walking related businesses also provide discount on presentation of your membership card, including Trespass (branches in Northampton, Milton Keynes, Peterborough, and elsewhere nationwide) who offer 15% discount an all items including sale items (but NOT including clearance items).

Note that the form states our membership year is from June to May but this has been changed and our membership year is now the calendar year, therefore ending on 31 December each year.
As with any club we have a constitution and a few rules. These are reviewed and updated periodically and the current version is sent to new members as part of their joining pack. The latest version can be viewed or downloaded from here.
